Lynelle Beinke

Lynelle Beinke

Senior Geophysicist

Experience in Australia and Africa exploring for base metals, gold and uranium at a range of scales from greenfield to minesite in hard and soft rock terrains. Very high technical ability and geological understanding with exposure to a wide range of geophysical techniques and styles of mineralisation.

Key Skills and Strengths:

  • Modelling and imaging of geophysical data and integration with other datasets to increase geological understanding and generate exploration models and targets.
  • Demonstrated ingenuity in constrained 3D inverse modelling of potential field datasets.
  • Modelling and interpretation of electrical datasets (AMT, CSAMT, EM, IP, resistivity).
  • Planning, execution and delivery of geophysical programs to complement new and existing exploration programs, combined with a high understanding of geophysical survey planning, field operations and quality control of data during acquisition.

Rob Black

Rob Black

Senior Geophysicist

Rob has a BSc Geophysics from University of Saskatchewan, Saskatoon, Canada and joined Terra Resources in 2017. He is Canadian born and educated geophysicist and has lived in Australia for the past five years. Rob has extensive exploration experience in Uranium, Copper, Zinc, Gold, Kimberlites, Heavy Oil and Natural Gas. Being from a mining town, he has been exposed to exploration and geophysics since the late eighties resulting in a passion for exploration and discovery. Rob has worked with a number of different companies including Cameco, Moombarriga Geoscience, Hartley Geophysics and Nexen. Rob is an active member of ASEG.

Jarrad Trunfull

Jarrad Trunfull

Project Geophysicist / Geologist

Jarrad graduated with a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Geology from the University of Western Australia. Prior to joining the Terra Resources team in May 2019, Jarrad worked as both a geologist and geophysicist with a number of companies including Barrick Gold, Rio Tinto Iron Ore, Southern Geoscience Consultants and Saracen Gold Mines. He has extensive experience in geophysical data acquisition, processing, modelling and interpretation, geoscientific data integration and interpretation, and exploration targeting. Jarrad is an active member of the Australian Society of Exploration Geophysicists (ASEG).

Key Skills and Strengths

  • A strong focus on the integration of geological, geophysical, petrophysical and other datasets to increase understanding and generate effective drill targets.
  • Worked as both a geologist and a geophysicist, with experience across multiple commodities and deposit styles utilizing a variety of exploration methods.
  • Broad experience in geophysics survey planning, management of acquisition, data processing, modelling and interpretation.

Bill Robertson

Bill Robertson

Principal Geophysicist

Extensive experience in exploration programs for base metals, copper-gold, diamonds, gold, iron, graphite, rare earths and uranium.

Bill has B.Ap.Sc (Geophysics), Diploma in Applied Physics (Mining and Hydrology) and over 30 years’ experience as a professional geoscientist, working as geophysicist for CRAE / Rio Tinto, North and as an independent consultant. He has provided geophysical support to exploration and evaluation programs in Western Australia, NSW, Tasmania, Victoria, Queensland and the Northern Territory, Africa, Asia, South America and Europe.

Key Skills and Strengths

  • Implementation of geophysical programs in the search of economic mineralisation.
  • Modelling, imaging and interpretation of geophysical data and the integration with other geological datasets.
  • Project generation.

Michelle Chard

Michelle Chard

Senior Geologist - Data Analytics

Michelle has a BSc Geology and BEd from Melbourne University and joined Terra Resources in June 2017. She is a geologist with 18 years experience in the mining and exploration industries on various projects around Australia and overseas. She was previously the Geological Systems Manager for Gold Fields worldwide exploration technical team; consulting internally on geological systems, database installation and exploration procedures.

Key Skills and Strengths:

  • Capture of open file and company data, database design and implementation.
  • Creating and maintaining database reporting and validation functionality for exploration databases
  • Independent advise on database design, management and change control
  • Integration of geological data with geochemistry and geophysics
  • Independent geological data due diligence of potential acquisition projects
  • Training – The importance of QA-QC and complete and accurate data capture, industry/company standards for logging and sampling of drillhole/ surface samples, database software and data management

JJ Leong

JJ Leong

Geophysicist

JJ graduated with an MSc in Petroleum Geoscience from Imperial College London and a BSc with Honours in Geophysics from Curtin University. Prior to joining Terra Resources in 2020, JJ has held a couple of roles across the mining, petroleum and software industries, including working as a geophysicist at Petroleum Geo-Services and solutions consultant at Dassault Systèmes.

He has experience in seismic imaging and interpretation and the exposure in conducting various geophysical studies on sites, including but not limited to seismic, gravity, magnetic and petrophysical surveys. He also has experience in using multiple geoscience softwares such as Oasis Montaj, Potent, Petrel, RokDoc, FEFLOW and ArcGIS.

  • processing of magnetic, gravity, radiometrics and remote sensing data
  • 2D and 3D seismic imaging and interpretation

Jarrad Luce

Jarrad Luce

Geophysicist

Jarrad graduated from Curtin University with a BSc and BSc Honours in Geophysics. He gained experience working as a field technician carrying out ground electromagnetic surveys throughout Western Australia and in New South Wales. He joined Terra Resources at the beginning of 2018 and is working acquiring petrophysical data on a variety of rock samples.

Jarrad’s expertise is in acquiring petrophysical data on core samples, identifying and documenting relationships between alteration/mineralisation and physical properties. He is interested in the application of sample physical properties in aiding geophysical data modelling and inversion.

Recently Jarrad has performed petrophysical analysis on samples from Rio Tinto Exploration, Fortescue Metals Group, Newmont Mining Corporation, Teck Australia Pty Ltd and European Cobalt Ltd.

Mila Markoski

Mila Markoski

Geoscientist

Mila graduated with a Bachelor in Geology at the University of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. During her degree, she gained extensive knowledge on ore deposits and ore formation and acquired valuable field experience collecting and analysing data and mapping various geological deposits in several states in Canada, as well as Hawai’i, USA.

Mila is currently working at Terra as a Geoscientist, where she is performing petrophysical analysis on core samples to estimate the geophysical response of ore bodies. Mila is eager to learn about geophysical methods in mineral exploration, modelling and processing data while also combining it with her geological knowledge to make robust geoscientific interpretations.

Fionnuala Campbell

Fionnuala Campbell

Graduate Geophysicist

Fionnuala graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Geology from CODES University of Tasmania in 2019 and is currently completing a BSc Honours in Exploration Geophysics at Curtin University.

The undergraduate units developed necessary skills for the integration of applied geophysical methods with geological datasets. The CODES third geology units focused on the practical methods of petrological sample analysis and field mapping in both Western Tasmania and Broken Hill, NSW for paragenesis creation and report compilation.

Prior to commencing at Terra Resources in July 2020, Fionnuala gained geophysical experience with IGO Limited, focusing on time-domain electromagnetic data collection, analysis and processing for Nickel sulphides in Western Australia.
