Anthony Jumeau

Anthony Jumeau

Project Geophysicist

Anthony graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Exploration Geophysics from Curtin University and joined Terra Resources in early 2015 shortly after completing his Honours degree in Petroleum Geology and Geophysics at The University of Adelaide. His thesis compared two Amplitude Versus Offset (AVO) inversion techniques for reservoir characterisation in the presence of coals within the Barrolka Field, Cooper Basin. Whilst completing his studies, Anthony acquired industry experience working for various geophysical companies carrying out potential field and electrical surveys both as Field Technician and Supervisor within the Mid West and Pilbara Regions of WA, and within Arnhem Land in NT. Prior to undertaking Honours in 2014, Anthony was a Student Geophysicist at Barrick Gold AusPac.

Anthony is an active member of ASEG and AIG

Key Skills and Strengths:

  • Data QA/QC processing, 2D/3D modelling, imaging and interpretation of geophysical data (Gravity, Magnetics/Radiometrics, Induced Polarisation/Resistivity) for exploration management, drill hole targeting and project evaluations.
  • Integrating multiple geoscientific datasets (drilling, geochemistry and geological data) with geophysical data for exploration of precious/base metals in a wide range of geological environments and mineral systems.

Lynelle Beinke

Lynelle Beinke

Senior Geophysicist

Experience in Australia and Africa exploring for base metals, gold and uranium at a range of scales from greenfield to minesite in hard and soft rock terrains. Very high technical ability and geological understanding with exposure to a wide range of geophysical techniques and styles of mineralisation.

Key Skills and Strengths:

  • Modelling and imaging of geophysical data and integration with other datasets to increase geological understanding and generate exploration models and targets.
  • Demonstrated ingenuity in constrained 3D inverse modelling of potential field datasets.
  • Modelling and interpretation of electrical datasets (AMT, CSAMT, EM, IP, resistivity).
  • Planning, execution and delivery of geophysical programs to complement new and existing exploration programs, combined with a high understanding of geophysical survey planning, field operations and quality control of data during acquisition.

Completed a Master of Economic Geology from The University of Tasmania in 2014.

Rob Black

Rob Black

Senior Geophysicist

Rob has a BSc Geophysics from University of Saskatchewan, Saskatoon, Canada and joined Terra Resources in 2017. He is Canadian born and educated geophysicist and has lived in Australia for the past five years. Rob has extensive exploration experience in Uranium, Copper, Zinc, Gold, Kimberlites, Heavy Oil and Natural Gas. Being from a mining town, he has been exposed to exploration and geophysics since the late eighties resulting in a passion for exploration and discovery. Rob has worked with a number of different companies including Cameco, Moombarriga Geoscience, Hartley Geophysics and Nexen. Rob is an active member of ASEG.

Michelle Chard

Michelle Chard

Senior Geologist - Data Analytics

Michelle has a BSc Geology and BEd from Melbourne University and joined Terra Resources in June 2017. She is a geologist with 18 years experience in the mining and exploration industries on various projects around Australia and overseas. She was previously the Geological Systems Manager for Gold Fields worldwide exploration technical team; consulting internally on geological systems, database installation and exploration procedures.

Key Skills and Strengths:

  • Capture of open file and company data, database design and implementation.
  • Creating and maintaining database reporting and validation functionality for exploration databases
  • Independent advise on database design, management and change control
  • Integration of geological data with geochemistry and geophysics
  • Independent geological data due diligence of potential acquisition projects
  • Training – The importance of QA-QC and complete and accurate data capture, industry/company standards for logging and sampling of drillhole/ surface samples, database software and data management
Catherine Matus

Catherine Matus

Geologist - Data Analytics

Catherine has a Masters degree in Minerals Geoscience from James Cook University, Townsville and joined Terra Resources in 2018. She is a geologist with over 14 years experience in gold, chromite and copper; underground and open pit production, and near mine resource development; in mine start-up, production and closure.  Catherine is an active member of AIG.

Key Skills and Strengths:

  • Geological Mine Production planning, implementation and reporting.
  • Scheduling, planning and supervision of up to 11 rigs in mine production and exploration environments with experience in AC, RC, and deep directional diamond drill programs.
  • Geological mapping, interpretation, modelling and data management/validation.
  • Formulation of new work flows and optimisation of existing processes.
  • Supervision of exploration activities while in collaboration with mine construction crews.

Jarrad Luce

Jarrad Luce

Geophysicist

Jarrad graduated from Curtin University with a BSc and BSc Honours in Geophysics. He gained experience working as a field technician carrying out ground electromagnetic surveys throughout Western Australia and in New South Wales. He joined Terra Resources at the beginning of 2018 and is working acquiring petrophysical data on a variety of rock samples.

Jarrad’s expertise is in acquiring petrophysical data on core samples, identifying and documenting relationships between alteration/mineralisation and physical properties. He is interested in the application of sample physical properties in aiding geophysical data modelling and inversion.

Recently Jarrad has performed petrophysical analysis on samples from Rio Tinto Exploration, Fortescue Metals Group, Newmont Mining Corporation, Teck Australia Pty Ltd and European Cobalt Ltd.

Blake Cross

Blake Cross

Graduate Geophysicist / Geologist

Blake has a BSc in Geophysics from the Colorado School of Mines and is currently a MSc student at Curtin University studying Mineral Exploration and Mining Geology. He has been working at Terra Petrophysics to assist in measuring and recording petrophysical data on core samples.

His experience is in processing and interpreting potential field geophysics data, conducting joint interpretation across both geophysics and geologic datasets, and in ore body geology. He is interested in further understanding orebody deposition and the ways that geophysically detectable features play a role in their formation and constraints.

He is currently in the early stages of a MSc research project focused on understanding the formation of metasedimentary hydrothermal Cobalt deposit in the United States.
