First Drillhole Intersects High-Grade Gold Mineralisation at Oro Grande

First Drillhole Intersects High-Grade Gold Mineralisation at Oro Grande

AIC Mines Limited is pleased to announce drilling results from the Oro Grande prospect, part of the Eloise Regional Project, located approximately 45 kilometres south of the Eloise copper mine in Northwest Queensland.

A ground electromagnetic survey completed by AIC Mines in 2025 to test the intersection of two regional fault zones identified several strong conductors that warranted drilling. No previous drilling had been conducted at the prospect area. The prospect – now called the Oro Grande prospect – was awarded a Collaborative Exploration Initiative (CEI) grant by the Queensland Government to co-fund a single diamond drillhole. The hole intersected two distinct zones of anomalous mineralisation, an upper copper-gold-silver zone, and a lower gold-zinc zone.
